Interesting! I love it! We gotta live more sustainably!

The building industry is one of the dirties out there. Anything that can make building more desperately needed homes less damaging to the environment the better.

Morning...oh dear lord, three of them! If they all went off at the same time, I will would deal with it in my usual way - hit it with a hammer🔨

I had something similar with our house alarm, there was a fault with it, which meant it sounded permanently until it was reset, which required an engineer. I wrapped it in a towel and closed the door of the cupboard it was in. Absolute horrible wait.. head was fried!

@jacqui76 yeah we have three in the house and one is super high!! But they should be linked so if we reset the lower ones, the high one should stop too. But I hope I'll never have to experience it! They're all on the 240v so it's not as easy as to just unplug the battery.... And it's a rental house so the hammer won't be an option 😂

Owwwww..... You could at least wrap it! The one in my apartment kept going off every three to five minutes until the repair dude came. Of course it started at 23:20 and the repair dude only arrived around 0:15, so i was deaf then cause every time I had to stand under it to press the button. It's no fun....

What a shocker. NYC banned Airbnb and the city is still as unaffordable as ever. wired.com/story/new-york-city-…

Trump implementing project 2025 would turn the US into a fascist shithole state.
in reply to Robert Reich

What makes it Communist is what's written in the Forward by Dr. Roberts. No one put this stuff to a general, nationwide vote, and no one asked all of Congress, either.
