They may stop the Hezbollah, though — after all they aren’t attacking Israel¹ much stronger right now, because their interest is power in Libanon, so a destroyed Libanon wouldn’t be in their interest.
¹ EDIT: added "much stronger" to not be misleading, because they do attack Israel, but those attacks aren’t a war.
