Nothing says you should ignore conventional wisdom like OnlyFans getting people to spend $6.6 billion a year on pornography when people used to say it's free on the internet so why would anyone ever pay for it?
in reply to Dare Obasanjo

TBF that conventional wisdom would be ignorant of basic things like how much bloody money is made on internet porn

It's a lovely idea. But it sounds like it comes from someone in a privileged environment, who hasn't really encountered a true narcissist.

We all have limited resources, limited time, limited energy. If you unconditionally offer your resources to leeches, you're absolutely sure to discover your limits sooner or later, and regret it.

Man calls police when father doesn't return home

Police arrest him and interrogate him for 17 hours, while denying him an attorney and refusing to give him his psych meds. He's forced to confess to murder. Told him they would kill his dog if he didn't confess. Man becomes suicidal and is sent to psych ward.

The very much alive father shows up. They arrest him too, and don't tell the man his father is alive.

Police officers are promoted.

“Literally, if you have $84,000 then hepatitis C is not your problem anymore,”

It’s actually just a little under $70 (83 cents per pill)"

"Isn’t this illegal? Yeah. Grow up.”
