The ministry also reported that approximately 94,616 people have been injured in the ongoing assault.

“Israeli forces killed 61 people and injured 162 others in four ‘massacres’ against families in the last 48 hours,” the statement said.

Wait, UI toolkits need a render backend? Old FLTK too?
in reply to MonkderVierte

Truat me, you ro not want to experience CPU based rendering on high resolution displays
in reply to RoyaltyInTraining

QtWidgets uses software rendering. It's completely fine on my 4K display except for a single application, KOrganizer, where it actually takes a while to redraw the UI. You can implement hardware rendering badly too (see QtQuick which is noticeably less responsive than QtWidgets)

Whoohoo! Great to see Vulkan really taking place as the norm. I hope this can help stream line development for some as it keeps happening.

Turkey is facing calls to stop oil shipments to Israel, despite not owning the pipeline or producing the oil.

The Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline, which transports oil from Azerbaijan to Turkey, is under scrutiny as pro-Palestine activists argue the oil is fuelling Israel’s military actions in Gaza and are urging Turkey to halt the supply.

"We don't own the pipeline, BP does," one Turkish official said.

#Valheim today gave a feeling of tangible progress, with @skyfire747 and I taking on multiple Burial Chambers without dying!! We explored a land to the north and found an odd trader called Hildir. We built a portal so we can return whenever we care to browse her wares, or just hang out at her cozy little camp. I got my first set of Troll hide armour too, so it looks like Skyfire and I have matching blue PJ’s with capes!!

No, that’s not our house. That’s just the front gate!!

We dug out a canal and built a bridge over it so we could sail north and south while still being able to drive carts into the base. Every vessel in #Valheim has a mast so if you want to sail under it, the bridge needs to be quite tall. Our first bridge was fine when our only water vessel was a crude raft, but when @skyfire747 built a Karve, we discovered that it would need to be taller. This resulted in a complete redesign that has three flights of stairs on each side with two high walkways that cross some 15m over the canal.

It rains in #Valheim. At least at Rivalund in the meadows, it rains quite a lot. Sometimes just a light shower. Something a mighty thunderstorm.

What ya need is a mod that (a) gives ya a boat with a propeller(s) instead of a sail or (b) offers drawbridges. The latter is a bonus for moats, too. 🧐

The past rising

Lidoriki, #Greece

The remains of a house in the sunken village of Kallios are revealed due to the receding water level of Mornos artificial lake. Over the past two years the level of the lake, which serves as a water supply to Athens, has receded by more than 35 metres. In 1980 when the lake was made by constructing a dam in the Mornos River, 80 houses along with a church and primary school in the village of Kallio were evacuated and submerged.

My brother & I have been playing #Unrailed. It's really fun and very hard! It has #Overcooked vibes.

We made it to the space biome but realized we've progressed too quickly & haven't optimized our train enough. Decided to restart & try to get more of the bonus bolts & make better train choices this time.

Works perfectly on #Linux.
