The UN has called for a "full investigation" into Israel's killing of a US citizen in the occupied West Bank during a protest against illegal Jewish settlements, the BBC reported on 7 September.
In response to the killing, Stรฉphane Dujarric, the spokesman for the UN secretary-general, said: "We would want to see a full investigation of the circumstances and that people should be held accountable."

A Palestinian girl was killed by Israeli army gunfire Friday in the northern occupied West Bank.
The death came hours after the killing of a Turkish-American activist.
The Palestinian Health Ministry reported the death of Bana Amjad Bakar Laboum, 13, and said she was killed by Israeli forces in Qaryut, south of Nablus.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society confirmed that teams transported Bana, who had been shot in the chest.

We have now successfully upgraded to v4.3.0-beta.1+mementomods-2024-09-07 + Mastodon Bird UI 2.0.0rc49.
The branch is now synced and up-to-date and 167 commits ahead from the last version which was v4.3.0-beta.1+mementomods-2024-08-23.
This version contains some fixes to both Mastodon and Mastodon Bird UI.
From this version forward we have the new Administration and Moderation nav for admins and mods. The support for this has been added to Mastodon Bird UI nightly version.
As usual, please tell me about any strange things you may encounter with this Mastodon version. We're running bleeding edge after all.
