Life coaching can provide helpful services for some people, but it can feature untrained people providing advice about health, psychology and nutrition.
Since the world of “coaching” is so poorly regulated, it’s a utopia for scammers. And now that #AI health coaching has entered the chat, these problems are likely to grow.

Tech Cyborg reshared this.
And he has made sure there is no mistake about that.
I hope this helps the NYT.
Everyone that isn't shilling for Russian assets:
"Mrs Harris is a put together woman who demands answers before she acts, and she's going to win!"
NYT:
"Who is Kamala Harris, even? It's very important that she tells us."

Brand new single coming out on the 22nd September! - "Fix Your Broken Heart"
(quite possibly the best chorus I've written!)
The pain and agony of a broken heart.
The torment of emotional distress and the dark thoughts of not wanting to continue living.
The emotional anchor of another who is there for you.
Who will carry you when you don't have the strength.
Who will hold you when you want to just fall.
Hope
Can I share my (probably) outdated, minority view on package managers?
I use Homebrew for some things. It’s so easy. But where possible, I always build from source, an old lesson from a security prof from my undergrad days that I didn’t really get for the longest time. I’m not as hardcore about it like he was, but for 95% of apps, I enjoy diving into their GitHub repo. Doing so has also taught me a lot about how things work, what a properly maintained project looks like, etc.
I am very happy to announce our new schedule! We will be meeting from now on
- every 2nd Friday of the month 19:00-22:00 @ xHain
- every 4th Friday of the month 19:00-22:00 @ Berlin Creators / Individual Network Berlin
That means our next event will happen Friday, 13th September 19:00-22:00 @ xHain

Shimmering in the night of space, a solar sail is pushed by the pressure of photons from the sun as it orbits the earth. It's just a test - for now it's tumbling, its engines not yet keeping it aligned. But it's a step toward the dream of solar-powered space flight.
This photo is taken from the solar sail itself. It has four black-and-white wide-angle cameras, centrally located aboard the spacecraft. Near the bottom of the photo, the view from one camera shows the reflective sail quadrants supported by booms. At the top of the photo is the back of one of the sail's solar panels. The booms are mounted at right angles, and the solar panel is rectangular, but they're distorted by the wide-angle camera.
The sail is called the Advanced Composite Solar Sail System. In my next post, check out a prettier picture of what it might look like from afar.

A company called Rocket Lab launched the Advanced Composite Solar Sail System for NASA on April 23, 2024. It went 1000 kilometers up – high enough for the tiny force of sunlight on the sails to overcome atmospheric drag and help the craft gain altitude. Last week the sails came out. Now the craft is flying without attitude control, slowly tumbling. Once the mission team finishes testing the booms and sail, they'll turn on the spacecraft’s attitude control system. This will stabilize the spacecraft and stop the tumbling.
Eventually they will start maneuvers that should raise and lower the spacecraft’s orbit - sailing in sunlight, pushed by the gentle pressure of photons!
You can read the Advanced Composite Solar Sail System blog here:

What's the next step? I don't really know - maybe a solar sail expert could chime in and say what future solar sail missions are planned.

"Adjusting the thresholds used in classification problems [...] is a step that’s sometimes forgotten, but is quite easy to do and can significantly improve the quality of a model."

I admire how Vietnamese cooks over the centuries have created perfectly balanced flavor profiles in dishes, AND that I rarely need to substitute anything, which for me (with my food allergies) is a miracle.
Also, I need to make up some nuoc cham, because my understanding is that it goes with nearly everything. It looks pretty easy to make. Thank you for sharing. I cannot get enough of these wonderful meals you describe.
