I've decided to showcase fedi artists in my header. The work I've currently displayed is by the incredibly talented Daleen Coetzee: @skapie321. Here is a little bit about this month's highlighted artist: about.me/daleencoetzee
I hope to include a broad range of original kinds of art, including fabric/paper, film, graphic, architectural, cartoon, theater, culinary, literary,
clay/ceramics, music, sculpture (including found object art), woodworking,
jewelry, painting, photography, spirit houses, altered books, mixed media, etc. Please let me know if you are an artist on the fedi and would like your work boosted in this way, or if you would prefer not to have your work shared. Also: illustrators are artists, full stop. Mad respect for everyone's work.

Pro tip for @gnome newcomer contributors: you can subscribe to specific labels/tags for newcomer-specific email notifications in a project.
If you go to gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-c⦠for example, you can subscribe to be notified each time I tag a GNOME Calendar issue as newcomers-friendly (in terms of implementation difficulty).
You can of course also click those labels anywhere you see them in GitLab to see a list of issues filtered with that label.

I don't know if there are other docs writers or technical writers I could follow, but I really appreciate @hankuoffroad. He continues to work on the problem of finding and keeping people who want to contribute by providing documentation on a project. Thankful that we have him in @fedora. It's a hard problem!
