Attn: Everyone who keeps telling me #hydrogen isn't a viable carrier fuel for renewable energy. Maybe you're right, and projects like this are a white elephant. But the onus is on you to make that case.

With traina, It can be used where you have tracks already and diesel locomotives. But where you have elecrified tracks already or you build new tracks, hydrogen Is the wrong choice. Each has pros and cons. Hydrogen infrastructure allows for time-shifting of renewable energy ('stacking in time' to use a permaculture design phrase). It allows energy to be stored when it's being produced in high volumes, and used in high volumes when it's being produced in low volumes, or when there's a lot of competing uses.

100% agree. There is no silver bullet that works at all times in all places. Each green technology has its particular niche, needs, and contributions to make, just like each species in an ecosystem : )
