Day 13 of my #20Reviews @bookstodon and posting this one reminded me yet again that I need to get serious about learning to get least a little more out of #Urdu #Poetry

The human body literally is not built for this extreme heat. And it’s hot out. Here’s what happens to you when it’s 100+ degrees. #Velshi

Researchers created a robot controlled by living fungi. The robot uses electrical signals from a mushroom to move and sense its environment. This breakthrough could lead to robots that can adapt to unexpected situations and perform tasks like monitoring soil chemistry.
And I, for one, welcome our new fungal overlords!
A funny occurrence; 2 AI cars both wanting to return to the road after a crash, but end up stuck revving into each other perpetually..
It's like a car kiss! 🥰

#Listening to hARPO uKU by my old friend snakebeings, from his 2002 solo album Power To Trip;

The music Dr Snakes records is not for the faint of heart. Like Mr Sterile or Sonic Youth, I doubt you'll ever hear it on The Beeze. But then again, back when Talking Heads were filmed for Stop Making Sense I doubt anyone thought they'd become a mainstay of easy listening radio either...
On a similar trip, but from the US and with a bit of delta groove, I'm #listening to a LA band who style themselves as KYMATIC, and this record, SAfeTy In NapKINS;

Track #4, Slender Slant,reminds me a bit of the Band of Skulls album Sweet Sour. A fascinating mix of grinding melodic riffs and barely-contained noise. Love it.
