Your conclusion from the false statement would also completely ignore the harvesting effect.
Physicians are very often anti-maskers. The vaunted title doesn't have anything to do with epidemiology and doctors aren't scientists. They still mostly think SARS spreads primarily by droplet and fomite. I'm not saying that's you, but I find it irritating when MDs use their position in discussions on social media to add weight to their point when it's pretty clear most doctors are staggeringly ignorant.
