Stupidity of the curators of the Biennale Cinema 2024 is quite shocking as they speak of “tragedy that the war” and complain that “point of view of Russian soldiers is not usually heard”.
The “tragedy of Russians soldiers” at war depicted by the Anastasia Trofimova movie can be trivially avoided by any Russian male by simply not signing 1’200’000 RUB contract with Russian armed forces. On the state level by simple withdrawal of Russian occupational troops from the sovereign country of Ukraine.
By these two easy steps Russians can immediately stop people dying on both sides, but only Russians can do this because they are the invaders. It’s as simple as that - as long as they are invading, they are seen as invaders and the only way most people want to see Russian soldiers is through the aiming device 🤷
You do not understand "culture". The Russians are OK being intimidated and slaughtered for hundreds of years and dozens of generations. The same goes with the Chinese, they are OK with theft and lying and exploitation, or the Hindus who are OK with substandard living conditions, over-crowded work and living conditions, rotten food. Not to mention the brainwashed Muslims in Africa, they are OK with terror and brutality - severing limbs, breasts, and other body parts as "punishment".
You are mistaken for contributing anything "noble" and "elevating" to any race or culture, they are all putrid.
Recent #gaming: I played through Snufkin: Melody of Moominvalley. It's fairly linear but it's gorgeously pretty and captures the feel of moomin works very well in its mechanics and story. Extremely strongly recommend for anyone who likes cosy games with a good amount of heart to them.
