#Israel
#demonstrations
#netanyahu
#hostages

Estimates say 500,000 demonstrators hit the streets of Tel Aviv.
It's the largest demonstration in Israel in history. Al Jazeera gives reasons and background info.

My question: are these ever growing demonstrations the precursor for civil war in Israel?

And by civil war I mean the Ben-Gvir army of settlers + police vs the hostage families.

I wonder if they already battle each other on social media.

Why do #Linux distro mentainers feel the need to have every software go trough their hands? I just don't understand.
Just package the latest software, always. If it breaks other packages is none of your business, is the business of software mentainers to well... maintain their software.
Half of the time on Linux I am not using the latest version of software that is available.
Long live #Flatpak

Cluster reentry explained: world's first targeted reentry

image

Image/photo Video: 00:06:50

The first of four satellites that make up ESA’s Cluster mission is coming safely back down to Earth, marking a brilliant end to this remarkable mission.

The satellite’s orbit was tweaked back in January to target a region as far as possible from populated regions. This ensures that any spacecraft parts that survive the reentry will fall over open ocean.

During 24 years in space, Cluster has sent back precious data on how the Sun interacts with Earth’s magnetic field, helping us better understand and forecast potentially dangerous space weather.

With this first ever targeted reentry, Cluster goes down in history for a different reason, taking ESA well beyond international space safety standards and helping ensure the long-term sustainability of space activities.

Boeing reaches tentative deal with its production workers in hopes to avoid strike

The union's members still need to vote on Boeing's proposal and decide whether to authorize a strike if the offer is rejected. If that's the case, a walkout could begin as soon as Friday.

no because you don't do a daily or weekly highlight of a candidate running for a winnable down ballot race

there is enough reporting already on what you do

STUDY in Wales finds that people are being reinfected quicker. “The median inter-infection intervals for Delta and Omicron were 226 and 192 days, respectively.” People are now being reinfected twice every 13 months.

Of note is the gap between median and average. For Delta, these numbers were similar. For Omicron, there's a significant difference (254 mean and 192 median), suggesting some are rarely reinfected while many are reinfected in less than 192 days. #COVID19

And interesting question would be whether and how much people alter their lifestyle after an infection. If some do, that might explain these data.

HERRING. The devil a barrel the better herring; all equally bad.

I really wish Democrats would get over this maniacal “cater to the middle” and “reach across the aisle” concept.

Maybe later when Republicans behave but right now it’s a waste and costs them every time.

Unity comes when energy is high and people believe actual change can occur (something we should have learned from TFG in 2016). People need to see possibility, and an excited group of other humans. Then, they find a way to make their own internal logic fit.

It’s essentially unity by FOMO.

This only happens if the ideas are big, clear, and not a reinforcement of their own messaging (which instead keeps them with their own candidates in a “told ya so” kind of way).

No more pandering.

in reply to Nate Barham

@NateBarham yeah. I’m for unity of those folks like the ideas and want to be a part of it.

Changing the idea to something weak and pointless to attract them. No thanks
