🤬 🤬 🤬 Iceland’s biggest fishing company is suing an art student in London’s high court for spoofing its website and issuing a fake public apology over a high profile corruption scandal.
... claims ‘did not qualify as parody’
The costly lawsuit is feared to have chilling effect on artists engaging critically with large corporations, while also raising questions about the UK’s status as the go-to litigation jurisdiction for powerful businesses.

This article is a year and a half old, as of then it looks like there were 2 or 3. Though I never really cared for Linux Format.

I think I stopped reading the print version of Linux Journal in 2006, and since then they have gone digital only.

The circular logic here is sickening. You see, it's the media's fault nobody knew people were eating cats and dogs in Springfield. I mean, what else could they possibly say to defend such remarks?

"In response to questions from The Washington Post, Trump campaign spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt said people in Springfield were experiencing “very real suffering and tragedies” that have been “largely ignored by the liberal mainstream media until now.”

Holy crap, got the Notes pane online. You can edit notes in the editor tab using Markdown and it will update the actual Notes pane with properly formatted stuff. Also, hitting Ctrl+S will save to file and pop up a toast saying that the file saved...this thing might actually be ready before next PF2E session. #pathfinder2e #python

Close Encounters of the Fungal Kind: In Pursuit of Remarkable Mushrooms by Richard Fortey, 2024

‘A very enjoyable book that brilliantly blends science, insight and passion’

The secret world of fungi is another kingdom. They do things differently there. Diverse beyond our wildest imaginations, fungi don’t obey rules. They pop up unbidden and often dressed in curious reds and greens.

Amongst these and many other ‘close encounters’ of a fungal kind, the book attempts to answer the questions: what are fungi? Why did their means of reproduction escape discovery for so long? What role do they play in the development of life? The vast kingdom of fungi is more diverse and species rich than plants or animals. Their glorious profusion has the starring role in this magical, deeply informed book which takes us from familiar places into strange worlds.

Added Stirling PDF to my RPi5 tonight with Tailscale sidecar for access.

I'm kinda on the fence about having Tailscale as a dependency when I'm on the same LAN, which will be 95% of my use.

I wonder if I can also set up nginx reverse proxy to ease LAN access to apps on the Pi and only use Tailscale if I'm away.
