In past years, Republicans’ “poison pills” on funding bills have included proposals targeting
Obamacare,
abortion rights,
immigrants and
transgender people.
This time immigrants are their target again.
They are demanding a law requiring Americans to show proof of citizenship when registering to vote.
Voting by noncitizens is already a crime and one that virtually no one commits.
Yet for this meritless cause, House Republicans would bring the government to a halt.
I built this proof of concept of a tool called text.makeup. It is meant to be a friendly Unicode explainer – meant not just for Unicode nerds, but nerds of any kind. Useful for debugging, but also learning.
You can go there now to play (much more fun on desktop!), but I also recorded a 5-minute video that explains it further.

Here's an interesting little detail: google.com/maps/place/Gun+Club… The northwest corner of TFGs golf club is at the corner of (I bleep you not) Kirk Rd. and Gun Club Rd. That also marks the southeast corner of Gun Club Estates.

Trump's campaign to down ballot Republicans: everyone takes a knee, kisses the ring (god I hope it is just the ring), and donates 30% of the money they raise to Donny, preferably under the table (Free speech!!) or he is taking his base of bigots & losers and going home.
Melania says even a chance at inheriting half a billon dollars is not worth kissing the ring.
