Good. Anti-cheat has no place in the kernel. Even disregarding the issue with it locking games to specific platforms, it's a security incident waiting to happen.

I'm absolutely sick of everything trying to run inside the kernel. It's bad design.

I just returned from a screening of a 35mm print of 2001: A Space Odyssey

I've lost track of how many times I've seen this but it's the second for me on the big screen โ€” the first was about 6 years ago in Nashville, a pristine IMAX screening

today: a โ€˜roadshow print' and it was worn to hell โ€” lots of marks + crackle + heavy scratches at the reel changes โ€” but I loved that, esp. as a contrast to the last time I saw the movie

it made it seem soulful
