A distressing week in #TheArchers where the mother called us to dob her son. He was apparently driving someone else’s car without permission, caused a crash, rescued the people and then put the blame for the crash on the car owner moving her into the driving seat. She said he’s a good lad really . . .
Servers with more than four choices are normally running customised versions or "forks" of Mastodon, such as Glitch Mastodon or Hometown Mastodon. Alternatively some admins have the needed skills to customise their own server directly.
There are some well-run Glitch and Hometown servers listed at fedi.garden/fediverse-servers-…
Unfortunately they don't always say on the server's descrption which extra features are active, but you could try asking the admins?
