As time goes by I'm increasingly convinced that #openSource is the antidote to #enshittification.

How do we convince the masses that Open Source, not controlled by one entity, is the way to go for the greater good?

Astronomers just found a small rocky world orbiting Barnard's Star, the 2nd-closest star system. The planet is about half the mass of Earth. There are hints of 3 more small planets nearby.

Barnard's Star has been messing with astronomers for over half a century. Peter van de Kamp claimed two giant planets there in the 1960s (error). A team found a possible super-Earth there in 2018 (phantom).
