A investigation by Al Jazeera’s Investigative Unit exposes Israeli war crimes in the Gaza Strip through the medium of photos and videos posted online by Israeli soldiers themselves.
The I-Unit has built up a database of thousands of videos, photos and social media posts, said the network.
The material reveals a range of illegal activities, from wanton destruction and looting to the demolition of entire neighbourhoods and murder.

In July, Australia's government ostentatiously announced the appointment of a special envoy on antisemitism. After the obvious questions were asked, they responded to the effect: "We'll do Islamophobia later".
The Islamophobia envoy has now been announced, but the launch was so subdued that it almost went unnoticed.
First, to single out any one form of racism for special attention is itself a form of racism.
Second, it's Palestinians who are being abused and vilified. Not all Palestinians are Muslims.

Global credit rating agency S&P abruptly downgraded Israel's credit rating from A+ to A on 2 October.
Moody's downgraded Israel's credit rating by two levels on 27 September, saying "geopolitical risk has intensified significantly".
The downgrade dropped Israel's rating at Moody's from the A2 level to the relatively low Baa1 level, shared by poorer countries such as Bulgaria, Peru, Kazakhstan, and Thailand.

In Oct 1942 she was deported to Auschwitz & murdered in a gas chamber with her mother & brother. Arpad perished in the camp in January 1944.
