"Earlier today, Israeli occupation aircraft bombarded a UN school sheltering displaced Palestinians in Al-Nuseirat refugee camp, resulting in the slaughter of over 3 civilians and injuring dozens of others."

This is a war crime.

Israel doesn't even bother denying these illegal attacks.

This is not in the news anymore because Israel has done it too many times.

Is this the new rules-based order?

Trying something new.

In these difficult times, I've been finding joy in making meaningful connections. I've met a bunch of local folks here in person. I am keen to meet others who live elsewhere, or those for whom a virtual meet and greet works better.

I don't have anything to sell you.

I like animals, cooking, cycling, nature, web stuff. I can probably give you 1 good rec for a Chinese restaurant where you live, or a good recipe to try. For other timezones, dm me!

I wrote about the expanding ways in which Trump and Vance are blaming America's problems on immigrants. Stick around for the kicker. washingtonpost.com/politics/20…

Waymo begins offering robotaxi rides in Austin.

Starting this week, certain members of the public will be able to hail a ride in one of the company’s autonomous Jaguar I-pace vehicles. The service area covers 37 square miles of Austin, where Waymo has been piloting its ridehail service with employees since last year. And the full commercial launch of Waymo’s robotaxi service will start “early next year” — and will be available exclusively in the Uber app.

"Meeting with Samantha Power, head of USAID - the United States Agency for International Development. We discussed the protection of our people, our resilience before winter - restoring infrastructure in Ukraine, strengthening our energy system, building shelters in schools.

We appreciate all American support for Ukraine: military, political, economic, humanitarian.

Together we protect Ukraine and every nation that strives to live freely, democratically and in peace"

Before the end of the diplomatic mission of the Ambassador of Japan to Ukraine, Kuninori Matsudi met with him and thanked him for the development of unprecedented meaningful and strong relations between our two states. We greatly appreciate every personal effort of Mr. Ambassador.

Japanese support for our state and people is very important. Together we save lives, together we increase the stability of Ukraine, together we restore the full effectiveness of international law.

A former Russian minister who had close financial ties to Vladimir Putin was found dead on Tuesday night.

The body of Konstantin Zavizenov was found by his son in a mansion in Moscow's Istra district on Tuesday night, the state news agency RIA Novosti reported. Law enforcement told the news agency that the death was tentatively ruled a suicide, but some expressed doubts about that explanation.

Being concerned about the much publicised Cups vulnerability, I checked my system. I found that the Cups package was installed, but cups-browsed (the component which is actually vulnerable) wasn't. It's apparently an easily exploitable, remote code execution vulnerability, so anyone with an affected system should take appropriate measures.
