Thanks to the solar and battery system, this year, on a 4 double bedroom, 3 bathroom home with an avg of 5500kwh of energy use per year... Has so far, after 9 months. Cost less than £500 in electric charges (inc standing charges and VAT) (see pic 1).
We've also earned £92 from exporting energy (see pic 2).
Which means that for 9 months of the year, it's cost just £402 for all our electric.
Your total electricity and gas usage is extremely similar to ours. (and the heatings just gone back on for a couple of hours this morning). Hopefully solar will reduce the cost.
What I might do next year is get a couple of 500w panel heaters and run those overnight to reduce gas usage (and then once the solar goes in - eventually - do solar->heat).
I set my central heating to 15ºC from 10pm until 8am. So it shouldn't ever come on during the night at all. Having the heating come on, usually disturbs me enough as I start to overheat that I wake up.
The lowest I've seen it get was between 16-17ºC over the last 2 winters. If we go away for 4-5 days at Xmas, I'll put the heating in frost mode (only comes on below 9ºC) and I've seen it drop to 13-14ºC inside.
I'll turn the heating back on, 2hrs before we're due home to warm it up
A new oil pastel painting is now available. A glorious sunset. What's the best sunset you have seen this year? Mine was in Largs at the Viking Festival, just before the torchlight procession, didn't get any photos, but might try to paint it from memory.

Jack Smith: On Nov. 19, RNC Chief Counsel Justin Riemer emailed an RNC spokesperson about the Law v. Whitmer suit in Nevada, writing, "Just FYI that I don't believe the claims in the contest regarding dead voters, those voting from out-of-state, etc. are substantiated... To be frank, the contest has little chance of succeeding."
That email was forwarded to a Trump White House staffer just days before Trump amplified the lawsuit online.

Unknown parent • • •I'm sorry if I seem a tad angry and jaded, but bear in mind that this is a ridiculous situation in which someone who is pretty much already proven guilty and just needs a trial is using trickery to get around actually having said trial so he can actually be declared legally a king and thus above all law. He's literally trying to bypass the rule of law and we're watching it happen and being treated as "ok."
The fact is, people should be a LOT angrier than they are.
