Despite all this, Martin is still a law school dean and active member of prestigious legal institutions, including ethics and election law committees.
In May, a far-right group floated him as a potential Supreme Court nominee. interc.pt/4dB9o5Y
Interesting news for PineNote users: an apparently fairly solid Debian image?
I got one of the first batch three years ago and I've quite enjoyed reading and annotating PDFs and even ePUBs with the primitive Android spin it came with.
But real Linux would be a big improvement, both for freedom and for software quality.

Good point. I only remember 2 passwords: Password manager and computer. Normally a conservative analysis would assume password leaked in hashed form and cracked offline. But on my Mac, if I understand correctly, the risk of leakage should be zero-ish, no?
Excluding keyloggers, assuming the key is not tied to an enclave (at least true for all cross platforms password managers I know of) the only possible vector is some kind of local information leak (a hostile app, memory vulns, a leaked backup etc.) If you trust that nothing bad will ever get to your computer yes it is safe, otherwise it is not: the password will be the last defense.

1) Get a USB enclosure: USB 4.0 is best, but anything that says 20Gbps is fine; amzn.to/3BsEiQB
2) Get an M.2 NVMe: PCIe 4.0 is best, but 3.0 works too;

It’s not all about the presidential race and its few core swing states: Beyond the battle between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump, voters are deciding tens of thousands of other offices and ballot measures.

#JDVance Is Anti-Family
"JD Vance touts himself as being pro-family, but he voted against a bill that would have protected IVF treatments. He opposes Universal Child Care programs and he missed a recent Senate vote to expand the child tax credit. Doesn't seem very pro-family does it?"

We talked to A.B. Stoddard, columnist at The Bulwark and author of a new piece suggesting a closing strategy for Kamala Harris, about how Democrats can use Trump’s angry, unhinged eruptions to fashion a winning endgame against him.
