Every day, I am fascinated by the fact Python won as the language for AI.
I have a dream, that one day ML will be dominated by a language which is fast and can be compiled. I have a dream that one day AI programmers will have access to a type system, as is their basic human right.
I hope that #mojolang will push the #python community to put more effort into the performance of CPython. 3.13 probably is an indicator of that. I mean, suddenly GIL is optional and then there is a new JIT compiler as well.
In the end I believe Mojo will become Python 4.0 given that Modular does as they've said and go open source. But I believe it's a very low risk that they'll do so. Then they will just lose to the standard "interpreter" which should have incorporated much of the same.

but when it comes to track and field , football, basketball, volleyball, mma, boxing, wrestling it’s a BIG NO.

Sport competitions are all about fucking QUALIFYING. You might not have noticed, but top athletes DO NOT WANT to compete against weaklings. They want a fucking challenge, and they will not "volunteer" their top spot.
When was the last time a chess champion called out the worse-performing "team member" in the smallest chess club on this planet?"
There is no such thing as "volunteerism" in sports competition, you probably made that up.

A few examples of volunteerism in sports in recent news: Djokovic &
Majdov. With a little research, you'll find several athletes that refused to compete in exchange for the mRNA shot.
