Israeli settlers destroyed about 70 olive trees in Husan village west of Bethlehem in the occupied #WestBank.
In the town of Sebastia, northwest of Nablus in the occupied territories, Israeli soldiers attacked olive pickers and farmers, forcing them to leave their land and seizing a tractor from the area.
Such attacks have intensified over the years with hundreds of incidents of settler violence, backed by soldiers, against farmers taking place since the start of the war on Gaza.

But the deliberate destruction of trees, including olive trees that have been nurtured by generations over centuries, is still really moving
Its a violent demonstration of a hatred of the culture, livelihood and history of the people who loved those trees
