Wow, I had not realized that. All the news says "covid tests." Here's an article that actually says "testing devices," which is what they all should say.

Good morning. 💉💉💉

9 October 2024

Flu season is coming, it's time to think about getting those seasonal immunizations. We are going for to get our seasonal vaccinations this morning, both flu and covid 19. You know, you have to protect yourself.

Stay safe!

wouldn't it be nice & kind if people with infections wore masks to protect others from getting infected?
I had been about to get my next vac but then...
A painful experience, still laboring with it.
in reply to R.Marx

@Beasley

That would be great, especially in crowds. I stay home a lot but have to venture out now and then.

Hopefully, conditions will improve for you.

in reply to Swede’s Photographs

thanks, I hope so too. Still falling asleep at odd hours, can't taste properly , limited lung volume, hands hurting. 😔
Just needless. I supose it just needs time

GROOMED TRAITOR TRUMP

Donald Trump was cultivated as a Russian asset over 40 years and proved so willing to parrot anti-western propaganda that there were celebrations in Moscow, a former KGB spy has told the Guardian.

I mean, money, state power, & network effects are obvious answers to that question.

But it sure SEEMS like we on the side of a living planet ought to be able to engineer SOMETHING.

While this looks petty and childish it's another sign the Wordpress is in the hands of people who can't find less destructive ways to handle their fucking midlife crisis.

Yet another app sacrificed on the alter of Kafkaesque app store bureaucracy. Granted unlike iA Writer they are going to only pull the Google Drive feature not the whole app. Another lesson why I never want to rely on Google for the back end #programming #google blog.panic.com/end-of-the-road…

For no particular reason, I still like Google, but would never use them for professional work. Google Drive and Search are probably never going away, but outside their core offerings, they buy/integrate/dump too fast to maintain a stable workflow ecosystem.

is there a factory where they produce those techbros? They all seem to produce the same output based on hybris and the idea when you know one thing good you are a visionary and know everything equally good even if you have never studied the subject.

Maybe we can replace them with AI. I mean a phrasebook and a random generator.
