Natural Jewel: Blue Jay and Acorn
This time of year, I see blue jays (Cyanocitta cristata) hoping in and between the trees a lot, all around the trees surrounding my yard. They usually don't approach the feeders though because they are after the acorns in the oak trees. Acorns are their absolute favorite.

In the largest public analysis of Israeli military strike footage, Airwars, in collaboration with Sky News, reviewed hundreds of clips of strikes in Gaza posted on official military social media accounts in the first month of the war.
Airwars matched 17 strikes to specific geo-coordinates where our researchers had tracked Palestinians killed or injured.
In these strikes alone, more than 400 civilians were reported killed.

They bought a portable #dehumidifier, and plugged it in on their porch. They reported being able to get about 1 gallon an hour during the early morning and evening humid times. One can then use the water for flushing, or treat it for washing dishes.
So VERY unused to the idea of having power but no water, I would never have thought of this.
