Musk and his twitter debacle show he doesn't understand what free speech vs free press is. His confusing these two goes a long way to understanding why twitter has lost about 75% of its purchase price of 44.5+2.5 billion closing fees, down to around 10 billion. What musk wanted was to change Twitter's editorial policies to allow right wing trolls and conspiracy nuts, which Musk likes. A media corporation has freedom of press, not speech. That freedom is a state legal construct.

Maybe outlaw women wearing pants, having short hair, or not showing cleavage and wearing makeup? Sure - just as soon as they are done monitoring their menstrual cycles, establishing checkpoints for women crossing State lines and other heinous controls on women.

‘I have significant doubts.’

That’s what Aurora CEO (and ex-Google self-driving car project lead) Chris Urmson had to say about Elon Musk’s technological approach to autonomous vehicles. Musk is gearing up to reveal Tesla’s first robotaxi at an event in Hollywood Thursday. After another spam wave, we're so grateful for @iftas

Their quick action prevented a repeat of the spam wave earlier in the year and things seem to be under control.

Thankfully, our complex signup process held up and the spam accounts involved in this attack weren't able to set-up on our instance! 💪

You can support IFTAS and the work they do to prevent & slow attacks like this here: about.iftas.org/donate/
