@delta @mattb @ShadSterling i mean, if the outcome is Android's default Calendar/Contacts/etc app have to get refactored to communicate over a public API, and I can redirect the default Calendar app to point at Nextcloud, then i am on cloud 9

@renchap Maybe I am boosting and replying too much, but it really looks weird when the "change subscribed languages" menu for my account is like this. No languages at all are selectable. I should be able to define in my profile which languages I post in, I know that a lot better than Mastodon does, apparently.

I've never belonged to that crowd. And it wasn't "climate scientists". It was climate economists and their "cost-optimised solutions". Often that implied doing less now, more later.
I've always opposed such approaches. In my view, we aren't even really trying yet.
