Ahh, if there's a recurrence interval of 70 years, that's better stated as a 1/70 chance of event per year, rather than the more-comforting "every 70 years". Following graphs the likelihood of event for 5 different reccurence periods. For a 70-year period, there's a 35% chance of 1 or more events within 30 years.

if you want permanence, use PCB but doodle with the pen every day. If you don’t use the pen for a week, wash the ink out of the pen and put it away.
If you’d rather leave the pen inked and not worry, then I recommend using a pen with good cap seal e.g.: Platinum Prefounte or Starlet, Pilot Lightive, Platinum Procyon, Sailor Profit Casual (or Light).
Use your non-permanent inks in your e-motion, as even when dried up, a quick dip in water will usually get it writing again.

The *Absolute Worst* bit about expanding our storage is the lack of funds we have to do it properly, and the block upgrades of 5 drives at a time.
I have no idea how @emilyyoung and her team at LTT did it, but it fills me with dread @show every time I do it. And even though I'm the boss lady. Ye gods I stop breathing when I put drives into a live server.
