OK, I have a #python #flask #jinja issue that the docs aren't making clear. Say I have an app that's hosted on multiple domains. I want some footer link to be to foo.$domain for whatever domain was used to reach the app.
url_for seems like it will provide protocol + domain. it's not clear if there's a clean way to provide "foo.example.com" for whatever value of "example.com" and a static value of "foo".
Seems like this should be doable. Any suggestions?

Oh and one more thing:
On my last day at Apple, I managed to get the third piece of the trilogy about user interface responsiveness published.
So if you ever wondered „what’s the difference between a hang and a hitch“, look no further:

A huge thanks to all my colleagues in Developer Publications who made it possible to get both this and the Instruments Tutorials out the door.

STALLING. Making or ordaining. Stalling to the rogue; an ancient ceremony of instituting a candidate into the society of rogues, somewhat similar to the creation of a herald at arms.

I hear you loud and clear Nobel Prize, you don't want to be left off of the AI hype train.
Next will be a Nobel peace prize for "AI safety."
Don't they supposedly wait for decades before seeing the impact, like new drugs that were created or something like that, before awarding Nobel Prizes?

Almost done with a small #app built in only #python using #nicegui. The documentation and references left a lot to be desired but once past the first learning hurdle, it’s actually really nice.
It’s also been an intro to #tailwind and I get why people like it so much. Definitely will be using it more in the future.

in reply to jeraldina☁️ • • •If the canonical "which domain did they request?" is actually coming in as "which URL did they request?", you can still use that: Parse the URL into its constituent parts.
#Python standard library has `urllib.parse.urlparse`, which returns a `urllib.parse.ParseResult` object. You can directly obtain the `hostname` attribute from that.
