At least 10 people, including five medics, were killed and over a dozen injured in Israeli airstrikes on southern Lebanon late Wednesday.
The Lebanese Civil Defense said in a statement that five of its workers were killed in the Israeli airstrike on the Civil Defense center in Derdghaya town of the Tyre district in the southern governorate.
It said the victims were on duty at the center and ready to respond to emergency calls.

Israel killed an Al-Aqsa TV cameraman and injured one of the station’s reporters yesterday following an air strike on the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza, Anadolu Agency reported.
Al-Aqsa TV wrote on Telegram that cameraman, Mohammed Al-Tanani, was killed, and reporter, Tamer Labad, was injured near the Abu Sharkh roundabout in Jabalia. It did not specify the severity of Labad’s injuries.

Lebanese Speaker of Parliament Nabih Berri accused the US government of “doing nothing” to stop the Israeli war on Lebanon during an interview with Saudi news outlet Asharq al-Awsat on 9 October.
