I asked 23andMe to delete my data. Here is my adventure!
After failing their super secure "tell us your birthday" additional check, I emailed customer support. They asked for a copy of my ID which I refused to give them, telling them that two-factor auth should be enough and that I live in the EU. They then replied agreeing to delete my data but that by law (!) they had to keep my samples and test results. I'm married to a lawyer, so I asked @AugustB to look into it:

If they haven't whispered them in your ear, it is your job to find out what they are. Caution, you may need advise of a psychologist to find out what TFG said. On the other hand, if you don't understand, let the people know what he really said and not what you thought he meant by what he said. That is not your job.

in reply to Nonya Bidniss 🥥🌴 • • •it's a fact we have to deal with and never forget that there may not be enough swing state voters to elect a woman president yet. that's why it might have been safer to keep joe biden in his dotage as the democratic nominee, something that the idiots at the nytimes and elsewhere probably didn't consider when they decided he couldn't run. but now it is what it is. can't say they're wrong because everyone gets to vote on whatever basis they want.
