The Israeli army detained 22 more Palestinians in military raids in the occupied West Bank on Thursday, according to prisoners’ affairs groups.
A journalist and two children were among the detainees in the raids that targeted the cities of Hebron, Bethlehem, East Jerusalem, and Ramallah, the Commission of Detainees’ Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoner Society said in a joint statement.

Former White House advisor Matthew Brodsky has urged Israel to drop napalm on Irish peacekeepers in South Lebanon.
Brodsky, a Senior Fellow at the Gold Institute for International Strategy and former Director of Policy at the Jewish Policy Centre, posted on X: “Israel should carpet bomb the Irish area and then drop napalm over it.” The now deleted tweet, included a map showing the deployment of Ireland’s peacekeeping force in Southern Lebanon.

At least 55 more Palestinians were killed in Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip, bringing the overall death toll since last year to 42,065, the Health Ministry in the enclave said on Thursday.
A ministry statement added that some 97,886 others were injured in the ongoing assault.
“Israeli forces killed 55 people and injured 166 others in five massacres of families in the last 24 hours,” the ministry said.
