Note: DO NOT go looking for this person. I do not mean this as an attack on them, this is just an example. I'm trying to understand because I've seen it before and it just makes no sense to me.

Also, if you want to get the word out, you presumably want your followers to boost, which they'll be reluctant to do if the message doesn't say where it's for.
Also, there are locality hashtags for a reason.
Just sayin'.
“How on earth can humanitarians move aid from the borders to the people in need when there is shelling? When there are air strikes. When there are drones. When there is navy fire. That is what we have had for the last 24 hours, and it is making the humanitarian response here absolutely impossible.”

in reply to Moxie • • •> New Zealand not even being on this map at all is brilliant
Clearly the McGillicuddy Serious Party defence policy is working as designed;
"Gradually and secretly wipe New Zealand off maps to ensure that no-one can invade us"

Must have been stolen by the silly parties. Now we just need to convince them to cover the beaches with warm beers, so we're safe from re-invasion by the English. A growing risk as their own country goes down the gurgler (again) ...

in reply to Strypey • • •The No Idea party is concerned at student magazine Canta's slide into Fake News. Besmirching the short trousers of their once impeccable journalism. The problems surfaced in a 14 August retrospective on The McGillicuddy Serious Party. Not in itself Fake News, but containing at least three (3) examples of Fake Olds.

in reply to Strypey • • •Canta contributor Tim Smith captioned one photo;
"Graeme Cairns (centre), leader of the McGillicuddy Serious party, performs in Kaikoura."
Yet there is clearly a castle wall in the background, something Kaikoura famously lacks. This was, in fact, the Battle of Castle Almond in 2013. Described by Smith as;
"The last known feud these mighty combatants served in ..."
Which was in fact The Battle of Blueskin in 2020;

in reply to Strypey • • •Smith also described the McGillicuddy Highland Army as;
"... foam sword swinging warriors ..."
It's well known that the pacifist weaponry of MHA regiment includes such diverse elements as; paper swords, flour bombs, vicious taunting and can-can charges. But never foam, in sword form of otherwise, as far as our research of kilted radical militias has uncovered.
