Francesca Albanese was speaking to a UN committee on the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people in New York the day after she published her latest report alleging that Israel was not just committing war crimes or crimes against humanity in Gaza, but a genocide.

Perched on a hilltop a short walk from the Israeli border, the tiny southern Lebanese village of Ramyah has almost been wiped off the map.
In a neighboring village, satellite photos show a similar scene: a hill once covered with houses, now reduced to a gray smear of rubble.
Even United Nations peacekeepers and Lebanese troops in the south have come under fire from Israeli forces, raising questions over whether they can remain in place.

#protokolo generates a #changelog from fragment files, kind of like #towncrier, but way less intelligently (in a good way). its purpose is to circumvent the problem where many #vcs commits attempt to edit the same section in the change log file, and they #mergeConflict all the time. (or worse, a pr that is merged late adds its change log to a previous release.)
The United States said on Friday it will deploy B-52 bombers, fighter jets, refueling aircraft and Navy destroyers to the Middle East, in a readjustment of military assets as the Abraham Lincoln carrier strike group prepares to leave the region.

Chris Sidoti, member of the UN Independent International Commission of Inquiry, has criticised Israel’s decision to ban Unrwa and stated that the agency “has saved Israel billions of dollars over the last 57 years.”
Israel’s parliament has voted to ban Unrwa from the country within 90 days.
Israeli lawmakers also voted to declare Unrwa a terror group, effectively banning any direct interaction between the UN agency and the Israeli state.

I think, if they are isolated and finally indicted in the Hague, many Western "friends" will turn away from Israel and the money that Israel needs for the war will no longer flow as easily as it does now.
Hopefully they will drive themselves into bankruptcy with their megalomania.
