IIRC, we’d either get free copies direct from the manufacturer or a discount code so we can use it and be able to speak about it to customers from first-hand experience. Well, one clear answer is it takes the form of Tommy Robinson (Stephen Yaxley to his mum) & his increasing hold over the far right via social media.

he's a dangerous thug but prison (while a necessary response) looks unlikely to have any real negative effect on his public profile or actions.

So, in a democracy, what can you do about people like this?

The gap between how we treat Islamist hate preachers and white nationalists is very revealing - we don't even call them hate preachers, for example. Of course, we must hold them accountable to the law regardless of any impact on public perception, but the battle over opinion is fought with narratives and the reason we're here is the narrative that the Other is the cause of people's problems, and so we must resolutely dispel it.

I think he'll flee the country before he goes to jail. Once the courts freeze his assets, he'll be on a private jet to some country where he's squirreled away enough assets to live. Or he'll stick around to the last minute and as the judge pronounces him guilty and sentences him, he'll mutter "Execute order 66" and all hell will break loose among the #MAGAIdiots

Hardware is not my field of expertise but I got my hands on 3-4 iPod Classics recently. Form factor and hardware interface is still pure joy. The software is by today's standards rather lame. Thus the dream.
