Once nice thing about Wayland ist that you can still move windows of hung applications.

I was always able to move windows of hanging apps in X11. Maybe just not the Gnome ones, due to their CSD plague. But they would probably have the same issue in Wayland then, I guess?!

@lobingera @whynothugo not a wayland feature, that's just a linux/bsd in general thing where client apps don't take down the whole system, I've always been able to move windows of hung apps in X11, the WM/etc doesn't care what the window is doing, it doesn't need to respond to be moved, even if it's flagged itself as fullscreened or turned off decorations/hinted it can't move/etc (like gnome shit likes to do) you can still hold alt and move it anyways.

Let's focus more on what people living with #dementia CAN do and less on what they cannot.

“I interviewed Rep. Delia Ramirez at the DNC who said to me that she has had conversations with multiple people in Congress — other members — who have said, ‘I don’t want them to Jamaal me,’ referring to what happened to Bowman in his race,” says Lacy in this episode of our new podcast, The Intercept Briefing. theintercept.com/2024/11/02/br…
in reply to The Intercept

“Not only are they concerned about what AIPAC could do to them if they come out against Israel,” Lacy says in a conversation with Washington, “but what will AIPAC do to them if they stay silent?” interc.pt/48FuP51

And so on ...

“Yo-ho, row-ho with Mario & Luigi.”

The Nintendo Switch is going out with a bang.

I’d say some bangers, too, after hearing the catchy sea shanty from this new trailer for Mario & Luigi: Brothership, which will add to the Switch’s pleasingly robust Mario RPG catalog.

Arab and Muslim Americans make final push for Harris

Haitham Wahab, a resident of Dearborn, Michigan, and a Lebanese American who has been canvassing for the Harris-Walz campaign, said one of the best ways to effect change is “from the inside, through coalition-building”.
“As an Arab American, you should definitely vote,” Wahab said.

“Voting for Harris is the best possible choice to preserve the maximum political power of the Arab American voter.”
