We could do what I think youβve done, and regex the details of the attachment into ! [] ()
To be clear, this pull request doesn't use regex, it's just JSON deserialisation and string interpolation.
Iβve never actually seen a Mastodon user try to add an image to something that ended up as a Lemmy comment, tbh, so itβs not something Iβve thought too much about.
The pull request actually includes one, the main KDE account tags !kde@lemmy.kde.social and includes pictures in their threads regularly. It's just hard to tell from our side as you can't see what's missing.

A small #homelab win today. I was able to finish up my implementation of #gitlab CE on #docker_compose I'll migrate some some of my projects from original GitLab instance, which was hosted on an Ubuntu VM. I'm hoping this will make GitLab updates (they are frequent) easier. I also get to fix some sins of omission and sins of commision in my originally group and project organization.
