It sounds like after going “Founder Mode” on Tidal and eliminating product management and marketing functions, a similar set off layoffs is planned at Block (formerly Square).
I keep being struck by CEOs complaining about how their headcount growtb was too much, too quickly as if all those people snuck into the company and weren’t deliberately hired with full leadership buy-in.
