Hi #ccmusic fans, @wiloma and I are going to do a show on #freeculture. I've already got @lorenzosmusic picked out. Any other favorites releasing under free culture? For those not familiar: freedomdefined.org/Licenses
Not sure how much music we are going to play versus talking, but we've got an hour to fill up, so I am guessing we will play some music.
The parents of slain forest defender Manuel ‘Tortuguita’ Paez Terán filed a civil rights lawsuit Tuesday against three Georgia law enforcement officers they say are most responsible for the death of their child in January 2023.

I stumbled upon this recently:
meep2017.bandcamp.com/album/do…
And of course my band:
dieleereimkerndeinerhoffnung.b…
And this one, if you like electronic:
sixumbrellas.bandcamp.com/albu…

However, if you look at the chart, they don't look super compatible.
I don't know a lot about the practical modifiability, but the issue may be the extent to which that is required. CC doesn't allow TPM (aka DRM) which does give a certain about of practical modifiability.

FAL is essentially non-existent in the English-speaking world, so I have never felt the need to dig into it further. I paid more attention to it before 2014, for sure.
