For a friend, I installed the latest version of Linux Debian (12.8) on a machine that is starting to be old: a Compaq 6005 with an AMD Athlon II. The machine is operational and appears to be fast even on the web. As it is 32-bit and Firefox will stop supporting 32-bit in January 2025. Chromium was a good alternative.

Problem fixed! :0)

It was linked with the screensaver. The music don't stop anymore even if the screen goes on standby mode. And no more login screen. Great!
