There is something similar about the minimalism and enigmatic quality of puzzle boxes that reminds me of good math problems. The aparent simplicity. The sense that things can't possibly be as simple as they seem.
You couldn't possibly simply open the drawer, or swing open the cabinet as it's designed. There are secrets and complications tucked under an austere surface.
These boxes are basically works of art, very expensive. I still enjoy looking at photos, wondering what surprises they hold.

It's great they finally want to regulate antisocial platform operators. But this is *not* the way.
Many ordinary USAmerican citizens are using TikTok as a printing press for their expression. Banning it in the US has the same effect as confiscating printing presses off a load of community newspapers in the 1800s.
It's a cut and dried violation of freedom of expression, and freedom of the press.
