Some views of the Memorial to the Victims of Communism — Canada, a Land of Refuge seen in Ottawa today.
I wanted to see it on a sunny day and I discovered that the memorial is in the wrong location. It is supposed to funnel sunlight though its tubes, but in the middle of the day is in the shadow cast by a large apartment building directly south!
Note the #sign: "No winter maintenance" (ie snow clearing). Great.
