A large reservoir in Pacific Palisades that is part of the Los Angeles water supply system was out of commission when a ferocious wildfire destroyed thousands of homes and other structures nearby, the Los Angeles Times found.
Officials said that the Santa Ynez Reservoir had been closed since about February for repairs to its cover, leaving a 117-million-gallon water storage complex empty in the heart of the Palisades for nearly a year.

She influenced me greatly as a young person. She was the example of who I didn't want to be or even listen to.
I watched her speak at an event my mother took me to. She was clearly an angry miserable person.
She was anti sex for anyone, except for for procreation, and then it better not be fun.
Especially cruel to the LGBTQ community, she was just awful.
She terrified me in her hatred for anyone who didn't share her views. I never forgot.
Some people won't be missed.
I still don't drink orange juice.
