An Israeli sniper shot and murdered a freelance cameraman for Turkiye’s Anadolu Agency, Saed Abu Nabhan, while he was on duty in the Nuseirat area of the central Gaza Strip, the agency reported on 10 January.
Nabhan was covering an Israeli raid in Gaza when he was fatally shot with a long-barreled gun, the Turkish news agency said.
He was among a group of journalists evacuating an injured man on a stretcher when the sniper killed him.
