If you think you can slay the beast of #hypercapitalism from inside the beast's stomach, then good luck with your #activism. I will do something positive and uplifting till the end of days, rather than engage in a lost fight.
We might do something else, and try activate 7 billion people to collaborate a tad more productively, for instance. Not *within* a system that is designed to not let that happen at all cost, though.
But first, let's not rhyme with history, please.
Can #mankind even learn?

Trump has begun dismantling America’s diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives. Here’s why Australia may not follow suit
Australia has already made significant progress on diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI). Organisations should resist the backlash and continue to focus on making workplaces safer and more respectful. The Conversation

Attacking DEI is extremely short-sighted. DEI promotes the most capable people, regardless of gender ethnicity etc. we are stronger when everyone has a voice, and it's heard.
We are going to end up being governed by a bunch of white male Muppets.

~1,660 Afghans cleared by the U.S. Govt to resettle in the U.S.—including family members of active duty U.S. military personnel—are having their flights canceled b/c Trump suspended the refugee program. This includes children awaiting reunification with families as well as Afghans at risk of Taliban retribution because they supported US soldiers against the Taliban.
One day in and Trump is already separating children & abandoning our allies to certain death. Disgusting beyond words.
The GOP’s stunning response to Trump pardoning those who assaulted police
Now that Donald Trump has granted clemency to every Jan. 6 defendant
— including those who assaulted police
— the response from Republicans has been strikingly muted — even approving:
A remarkable episode that shows
how Trump gradually lured his party to vouch for the previously unthinkable
That so few Republicans express disapproval of pardoning so many people who assaulted police
— while some are even aligning themselves with a decision that a poll recently showed three-quarters of Americans oppose
— is a watershed moment in our politics.
