Je me suis inspirée de personnages récurrents des contes et légendes auvergnates, collectées notamment par Henry Pourrat : Le Diable, le Drac, la Galipote, l'Ogresse, les Fades, Touéno Bouéno et Pimpounet.
Les typons ont été réalisés entièrement manuellement, avec du papier découpé et de l'encre de Chine.
