That's just what I needed. I did a system update, restarted my PC and can no longer log in. It works directly on #tty, but if I try to edit a file with #vim or #nano, the programs apparently don't exist.

Nvida stock taking a BIG hit this morning feels pretty related to this Deepseek news.
In my testing the model is pretty good. Not needing a data center with a huge rack of GPUs to run it is a much bigger deal than the quality itself IMO, and seems like maybe the market agrees with me

Agreed, all the LLM's are inherently biased. At least this seems to be a cheap way of retrieving biased data based on the worst training data imaginable, the garbage juice squeezed out of crawlable internet content.
if you're on Linux, but aren't so keen on interacting with your local LLM via CLI you might check out
Specifics about Chinese related politics or history are being highlighted, but honestly historical factual stuff like that isn't a strong point of such tools anyway, so this is a background concern at best IMO.
More importantly it seems to do at least as well as other LLMs I tried on prompts such as, "outline why privacy is a fundamental human right"
