Human rights groups and dozens of legal experts are calling for an independent inquiry into the Metropolitan Police's handling of a pro-Palestine protest on Saturday.
The call comes after the force, responsible for policing most of London, arrested one of the main organisers of a major rally against Israel's conduct of the war on Gaza.
Organisers denied the Met's claim that protesters had forced their way through a police cordon.

I think a lot of this is mindset, in the UK shops can give food that is not sold to homeless shelters, food banks and other places, this saves perfectly edible food from being put in skips then to say landfil.
People need to want to change, if people cook too much food, l they need to cook smaller portion sizes, or prepare large amounts, and freeze for a meal on a later date (it does depend on the food).

Israels idea of peace is to wipe out the palestinians and take over the whole of what was Palestine.
Thankfully there are many Jews around the world who disagree with this idea, and want a two state (or similar) solution and a place that both Jews and people of other religions (mainly Islam I think) can live in peace and share this important region peacefully.
About 15,000 school-aged children and 800 people who worked in the education sector were killed in the war.
Relentless Israeli bombardment also damaged 95 percent of educational institutions in Gaza and put 85 percent of them out of commission.
