Can anyone recommend self-hosted observability alternatives to #Netdata? I really liked the UI, automatic alerts, and how easy it was to set up, but no way am I connecting it to the cloud just so I can see processes and logs. Should I just give in and learn #Grafana? Nicht #Guix (das ich verwende). Zu viel zu verstehen, zu weit weg von den Programmen selbst. Auch wenn ich die Möglichkeiten von Guix nicht missen möchte und es als eine der besten Distros ansehe.
Meine #Distro als Neuling war 2004 #Gentoo. Eine sehr gute Wahl, wenn es dein Ziel ist, #GNU #Linux wirklich zu verstehen.

Does open source always = secure? Nope. However, key parts of the OS, like the kernel, storage, network, GUI, etc is very secure. How secure is the Window's microkernel?
There is a reason why more Linux servers run in all public clouds, including #Microsoft #Azure !
