Gender Nazis in West Virginia passed a bill allowing child genital identification exams for the purpose of identifying their “biological sex” without without parent's (or child's) consent.
It also defines a person as male or female, depending on whether they "produce eggs or sperm," ignoring the fact that no one produces sperm until puberty. It also says that all intersex people are “either male or female” but does not give a basis for assigning a sex to them.

2/ Okay, this is worrisome. From one of my pals in the know:"If they vote for cloture, GOP could ultimately turn down Dem proposals and pass the dirty CR with only 51 votes, thus surrendering the Dems' leverage here."
All this is going to do is further erode faith in the Dems. A shutdown would suck, but it would be Trump’s shutdown. The GOP could point fingers all they want and it would fail to change the narrative among informed voters.
